If you've heard of MMORPG Prject (not advertisement) than you probably know that in there server, its like a MMO. There is a safezone (global spawn) and town centers. Than there is a PvP zone (everywhere else). I was thinking that we try to do this for a few days and see if the players like it more or not. It seems like a good idea considering you have to strive for resources. You can loot other cities, houses a few blocks to you, and kill people for there loots.
In this kind of a society, there are factions. The factions go like this:
Citys and there leader (mayor)
Staff (sometimes they join a city)
Regular Players
The requirement to create a city is:
9 People + a Leader (mayor).
The city's citizens will all have a spawn at there town center.
This style of playing is extremely fun. You can either attempt to raid a city for loots or die trying. Or you can attempt to make a group of people, create a city, split up the citizens into a army and a few gatherers.
I already nearly have the first city done.
Another recommendation is this. Make the inventory SERVER sided. Not Client sided. That way players can not dupe/cheat.
